Strong job numbers support Bank of Canada’s optimism about a rebound: Economist
Canada’s unemployment rate was down to the lowest level since 1976 this May, leaving many investors optimistic about the chance of an economic rebound. Sherry Cooper, chief economist at Dominion Lending Centres, joins BNN Bloomberg to break down the latest employment numbers. She says she can’t imagine a recession with this strong data.
